Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to host the 12th Multinational Congress on Microscopy in Eger, Hungary during 23-28 August, 2015. On behalf of the MCM2015 Organizing Committee, we extend a warm and cordial invitation to you.
The aim of MCM conferences is to bring together leading experts and emerging young researchers applying many types of microscopic techniques in the field of life or material sciences as well as provide a forum for new directions.

MCM gained “EMS Extension 2015” which improves the scientific excellence of our conference significantly.

MCM conferences have always been a good forum for microscopists not only to learn from each other but to establish international links between laboratories interested in similar projects. Trade exhibitions also helped to gain insight into the newest development of microscopy. Besides having always been a forum for informative and amicable discussions between world-renowned scientists and members of the young generation, these meetings offered a good possibility for talented young scientists to introduce themselves to an international audience.

Eger, venue of the MCM2015 is a historical Hungarian town with impressive history. MCM also has its history and respectable traditions. We want to be excellent hosts who keep those traditions, so we are convinced that MCM2015 will promote the name of the town and the conference series, and help all the participants keep an excellent memory of their visit.

We believe this conference will be a highly rewarding professional and networking experience for all. Additionally, we encourage you to take this opportunity to explore the highlights of Eger with its beautiful surroundings and to experience the unique Hungarian culture.
