High-Resolution Electron Microscopy and Nanofabrication School of UFF (HREM&N)

The HREM&N, hosted by the  Laboratório de Microscopia Eletrônica de Alta Resolução (LaMAR) at the  Universidade Federal Fluminense  (UFF), is dedicated to training professionals in advanced microscopy techniques.

During the HREM&N, participants can attend lectures on Electron Microscopy and its applications in research, as well as choose one of three hands-on courses. In the hands-on course in addition to the theoretical lectures, participants will receive practical training on the microscope of their choice. The available hands-on courses cover the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and the Focused Ion Beam (FIB).
