Electron Tomography and Subtomogram Averaging Workshop – CNPEM
Overall aims and course outline
The Electron Tomography and Subtomogram Averaging Workshop is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of the whole image processing workflow in Electron Tomography (ET). This includes tasks such as aligning the tilt series, reconstructing 3D tomograms, identifying particles, performing subtomogram averaging.
This workshop covers:
- Fundamental Principles: Understand the principles of electron tomography, including image acquisition, reconstruction, and data analysis;
- Data Processing: Gain proficiency in data processing techniques, including alignment, classification, and subtomogram averaging;
- Hands-on Experience: Develop practical skills the use of different softwares via the ScipionTomo framework.
